AKC refused to accept my dog as a Yorkshire Terrier. Ancestry Pet DNA proved them wrong. He is definitely a Yorkie! Thank you!
Process was easy and quick enough with results. The results weren’t very accurate though. Buddy is a medium dog and we guess more of a collie Pom mix but he got 47% bichon frise, Yorkie and a Pom which are all small breeds so doesn’t really make sense. Some of his personality traits weren’t accurate either.
Nailed it! So happy I did the test. I had my doubts about our designer dogs actual genes, and this test proved our puppies parents were exactly what we were told. I thought I would get a bunch of nonsense results but they were spot on. Thank you Ancestry!!!
This was super easy, super fun and super exciting to Finally have a specific breed assigned to my dog! People often stop me and tell me their opinion and what she is, now I have her DNA!
I was so surprised by my dogs results. I almost doubted them until I googled dogs of the same breeds and they look so similar to my dog. I am not quite sure about the traits though.

this is my second time using Ancestry DNA and i love it! i was able to know both of my dogs DNA who were rescues' and we were unsure about! now we know their genetic make ups and can provide the proper care for them based on there breeds and understand more about them and their personalities. i will always recommend the DNA test kit to all my friends and acquaintances
They were very fast with the processing! I was awaiting anxiously to figure out what breeds my little guy is mixed with. I was updated along the way with what they were doing, and they were very effective!
The breeds that she is identified as are spot on; I can see all four breeds in her appearance and personality. However, when it comes to the traits, my girl must be different because we didn't match even 25% on those—but in a positive way! She's perfect, and now the mystery of her uniqueness has been solved!
