The test was so easy to use and send in. No hassles at all! We got our results back in about a week, so really fast too! The results were great and easy to understand. We adopted our dog from the Humaine Society and they didnt have much information about him because he came from a shelter in another state. There were a lot of surprises in the results, breeds we werent even thinking about. It will be fun to explore those breeds and see which one matches our guy. We are just thrilled to finally know all about our sweet boy!
Great testing. Just the colour difference wasn't correct. The tan gene. My dog is completely tanned but it never got picked up and the behaviours were the total opposite to my dog. But the breed was spot on. So half and half.

The DNA results are interesting and mostly believable. A couple of the traits they say my dog has are not expressed in my dog. I don't know if the DNA mapping of traits is incomplete or if for some reason the traits were not expressed.
Ancestry Pet DNA were a great company to deal with. Great communication with how the results were progressing and a very detailed report at the end. Would recommend this company to everybody.
You identified the mother’s DNA ( chihuahua & shih tzu, which we already knew) but you failed to identify anything about the father (a stray). So we learned nothing new about our dog’s ancestry
I bought my puppy through the farmland paper for $200 she was very shy and had been born on a farm. My daughter gave me the ancestry test for Suki for mother's day. I finally decided to send her DNA in and she is pure bread great pyrnese. Ancestry pet did a great job of giving me updated and the results were done quickly. Thank you very much!
