We rescued our puppy being told he was a golden retriever/lab and he most definitely had the looks of a golden retriever lab.. but his characteristic were bizarre reminded us of a husky.. so we decided to do a DNA test party and had everyone take their best guess.. turns out or rescue was a Chihuahua, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Husky. Everyone laughed because how far off we were! It also gave us peace of mind knowing what he was and how we can better support his needs
Got the kit quick, and the results even quicker. Site said 6 weeks but I'm pretty sure it only took about 3. Not sure I 100% believe the results, as I'm almost certain Sally is mostly black lab. But i have no way of proving it, so I can't fairly dock them for that. I do see the Rottweiler in her after the test though. The brownish tinge on her face makes sense now
Fantastic! It was nice to confirm the breeds of both my babies. Some of the mannerisms detected were off but definitely happy with the process and results.
BEAGLE???? Haha, the shelter told us German Shepard and Lab, so to find out he was 76% beagle was wild, but it makes sense!
