Casino is a rescue. Not one person could guess his DNA. Even his previous owner (who had him since he was a puppy) didn't get it right. His vet thought Boxer/Spaniel. Most people guessed Aussie. When the results came back 63% Shih Tzu, I was speechless. Thank you for helping me understand why my 60 pound dog believes he's a lap dog.

What a surprise, my girl looks like a dachshund with beagle markings. Turns out she is 52% chihuahua, 25% dachshund and 23% beagle. This was so exciting to learn. I am going to get another kit to check my sisters dog. Can't wait.

Surprised but very pleased that our sweet beagle mix puppy had no beagle in him. He just kept growing and growing. Everywhere we went everyone was curious about his heritage. All of the theories were put to rest when we got the DNA results. We had been told that he was a Beagle/Border Collie mix. Turns out the Border Collie part was right. His long legs were attributed to two types of coonhound. Now everything made sense!

I loved getting my dogs dna results from ancestry! I was already pretty sure on what my dogs dna was made up of and this company gave me the reassurance I was looking for and showed me my dog has a small percentage of 2 other breeds i wasn’t aware of! I love my rescue Maximus Junior and I loved my experience finding more about him through ancestry dna!

I was happy with the results. It was interesting to find out what breeds my two year old rescue dog turned out to be. She was 60% American Pit Bull Terrier which she has the look so it was no surprise, and she is 22% Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The 18% Rottweiler is what surprised me. I never would have guessed. I had thought a little boxer or beagle with her colorings. No matter what breed she is, she is a sweetie.
