This place has never disappointed us. I've never been to Thailand. But I've eaten a lot of "Thai" food in the US. It all tastes the same. And then there's Anchalee's. From the radish cakes to the stalks of green peppercorns they use in their cooking, it transcends any other Thai place I've ever eaten in. It's like a completely different kind of food. Every time I head to Berkeley to help my family's business I go here for Thai food. When I ask my bro what he wants to eat he always agrees with me to eat here. I've been here 3x and every time is better. I live in the valley. The Thai food there seems greasy now that I eat at Anchalee. The other day we ordered various things like basil squid, curry beef, mango salad, pad Thai with shrimp, and iced tea with thick coconut cream on top. Everything was just perfect. Love it! Absolutely delicious! Love the sauces! We also had the curry chicken with noodles. My husband does not usually eat curry, he could not stop eating it! We also had the crab pad Thai! Very good! Can't wait to go back! Thank you!

Best Pad Thai I've had yet! And the yellow curry was pretty good, too. Overall, Anchalee Thai Cuisine is an excellent place to eat with good quantities of food for the price and deep, rich flavors. Just a warning - the hot is actually hot! FOOD: Got the Pad Thai and the Chicken Yellow Curry and enjoyed both. Usually when people ask you what level of spiciness you want, you can guess their "hot" is more of a "mild" heat, but this was next level hot. I was sweating from bite number one. But it was GOOD.
