I just said out loud to myself while eating "holy fuck this place is good". So I figured I should get out my phone to share. Both times just everything I couldn't imagine tasting better than it's prepared. I can't believe I didn't try this spot years ago. The himapan, curries, and egg rolls. Damn this the best Thai food in Berkeley... thought gin Thai's coconut chili pad Thai is great too... need to try pad Thai here still.

Ordered through DoorDash and was happy to review this resturant! Food: B+ We ordered the Pad Thai, Pad See Yew, Green Curry, Papaya Salad, and Fried Rice. Everything came well packaged with enough utensils and napkins. Was also happy with each individual packaging in that it wasn't too soggy when it came nor did anything leak through. All of it was delicious and happy to try them again or new dishes next time! I have had the Goong Grabog. My favorite dish there. It comes with an assortment of deep fried veggies and shrimp. It's a plentiful amount with a plum dipping sauce. Never disappoints.

This place has never disappointed us. I've never been to Thailand. But I've eaten a lot of "Thai" food in the US. It all tastes the same. And then there's Anchalee's. From the radish cakes to the stalks of green peppercorns they use in their cooking, it transcends any other Thai place I've ever eaten in. It's like a completely different kind of food. Nothing is soupy or overcooked. Top notch Presentation, variety, and excellent service. Cute little place too. So glad it's survived the pandemic. Lots of vegan options too! ... read more

The food was very good. It was delicious and tasty and we'd come back for it. But the service leaves alot to be desired. We ordered appetizers and some of our group ordered soup and salads as their main entree. The appetizers came and were delicious. But then the salads and soups for half of the table were served. No one cleared the table of the appetizer plates, and immediately, it was clear that the main entries for the others weren't coming soon. So Thai food is built around 5 tastes. Unfortunately omelet one dish came even close; the mango salad had all but the bitter. Colorful, light, complex. Delicious. The same could not be said for the very brown and one note pad si ew and basil pork, the latter so salty almost inedible. We will try again as the mango salad was promising but will avoid two of our favorite dishes.
