This plac e is right by my work and everyone had told me it is a little pricy. I gave it a shot and personally felt that for the quality and portion size and kind service it was spot on. I ordered my go to eggplant chicken and their variation was different than I'd ever had before. I loved it. So beautifully presented. I will definitely be back!

food was ok but way overpriced. meaning, it tasted ok, good, about the same as most thai food places. it's just so expensive!

Very quiet spot in Berkeley. Very traditional Thai food and delicious. Great staff good food overall I wonderful experience. I recommend this spot anyone who loves traditional Thai food and cook the proper way. I got the pad Thai spring rolls and curry. All were fresh and filling.

ATMOSPHERE: Maybe one day I'll eat at a restaurant again and be able to fill in this section. SERVICE: Delivery was timely and the food was well packaged. No leaks or spills, and some noodles were kept separate so as to not get soggy before arrival. Much appreciated! FOOD: I love Massaman curry, and they do it soooo good! So flavorful and silky, I will order this every time even if I'm trying something else new. I just have to have it. I am also a HUGE fan of the Basil Lettuce Wraps!! So delicious and nutritious. I've been eating at Anchalee for years and for me it's one of the best Thai restaurants in the Bay. Reasonable prices, generous portions with a lot of protein (many pieces of tofu which is much appreciated!) and veggies too, great flavors, friendly service, accommodating if you want to make some modifications to your order. The curries, the himapan tofu (warning - spicy!), and the noodle dishes are all consistently good. I can't speak for the meat dishes but for a vegetarian, you can't go wrong here!
