I don't write reviews often, and most of the time I take the time because of how great an experience I have had. I took my car in for servicing and this is not one of them. I have tried to work with the dealership to resolve the issues but ultimately I am left very unsatisfied. I will start with the good and the bad, and then end with a summary of my experience. TLDR: Do not use Andy Mohr Volkswagen service center Last week I received a call that my vehicle had a recall. I said I wanted to schedule that and also get an inspection that I am overdue for. She offered me 8:30 on a Thursday. I said I couldn't do that because I work at 8. She said that I could bring my car in between 7 and 7:30 and there is a shuttle that would bring me home, despite living in Brownsburg. Don't waste your time or money at this dealership. They have terrible customer service and service dept. They will send you email after email that your vehicle needs service, but when you set up the service and show up for the service appointment (which is free as part of your purchase agreement), they will tell you that actually you have x amount of miles left so this won't be a free service since you actually didn't need service yet. What a racket - so dishonest!!!

This is my 2nd review of this service department. I get into my Cross Sport this morning and I have an airbag error light come on. The service manual advises to take to the dealership immediately. I do so and because of a busy schedule I have today I request a loaner. Service advisor David Patterson became rude and condescending advising there are no loaners available and most dealerships would just turn you away on a Saturday morning. We made a deal on a car approved by sales manager Ryan. We had to fight just to get them to change a headlight bulb that was burned out, but they refused to have a tech check why the marker lights were loose. We were to pick the car up the next day and Ryan agreed that we wait to sign papers at that time and refused us leaving a deposit. I have bought my last 2 vehicles from Andy Mohr Toyota in Avon and been very happy with them…but my son recently purchased a Jetta from Andy Mohr Volkswagen in Avon Indiana and was treated ridiculously unfair. The manager that he dealt with repeatedly told him Andy Mohr is a multimillion-dollar company. Josh Hedges was a fantastic Sales Advisor! He went above and beyond in trying to help us find my son his 1st vehicle. Even though we were not able to buy anything from the dealership, I would highly recommend him to help you find the vehicle that you are looking for. He truly cares and does what is right.
