RecommendedThey were extremely busy but the staff made the long wait bearable. I loved that the vet got right on the floor with my dog who was in pain rather than putting her in more pain by picking her up and putting her on the table. They show that they really do care. Thank you so much for all your help.
Great experience. Staff and doctor were fantastic. Marco had to be sedated for his stitches so he is home resting like a perfect patient. Thank you for taking such great care of him.

We had to put my dog down yesterday. Our own vet wasn’t able to help us even though it was during business hours. The staff and vet couldn’t have been nicer at the Emergency Hospital. They showed so much compassion. They really helped us during a very emotional and difficult time. ❤️
Very good service. Upfront with cost before providing services. Excellent care for our dog. Test results were automatically sent to our regular vet. Care instructions were clear and written out. Highly recommend.
Went there for my cat, who wasn’t having a major emergency but still couldn’t wait until Monday. The staff was great and super empathetic towards the customers who were having their pets go through a lot. Like car accidents and other super urgent things. It’s a bit more expensive, just like a people emergency room. But it’s comforting knowing if something happens at 2am or on the weekend, you can take your furry family member to people who will do their best to make them feel better.
I called ahead (from Muskegon) to let them know I was coming and why. As soon as I got there they too my granddog in to the back room and assessed him and gave him some medicine to ease his pain. Throughout the whole process, the crew was caring for this dog as if it was their own. They made sure that I was aware of everything that was being done and gave me options to assist in his care. I will ALWAYS recommend the practice at AEH for the care of your fur babies!
They were very compassionate and kind when we brought our family dog in, he had cancer and was suffering and they helped us care for him until the end.
