A couple months ago my dog Grace had a surgical complication from her spay. Everyone there treated us like family as we rushed there in the middle of the night they made my baby girl feel safe and loved. I cannot thank them enough for taking care of Grace! I would definitely return if another emergency arises( God forbid)

Business response:

Thank you so much, Allie! We are so happy to hear you had a good experience during a stressful time. Hopefully you won't need us any time soon, but if you do, we are always here. Take care!

My experience her was excellent and would highly recommend if your pet is in need of medical attention. Me and Bentley (family dog) had to visit them this past Sunday when he blew out his ACL. We went at 11pm at night, the service and care were top notch! Kaitlyn explained everything well and treated Bentley so well. We visited our regular vet on Monday and the xrays and notes were already there from our Sunday visit with AEH. They have called us at least 3 times to follow up on his status which shows their dedication a... read more

I had to make the toughest decision of my life there, thankfully all the staff I encountered were all so sweet and kind to both myself and my beagle Benny. While it's so sad I had to send him over the rainbow bridge I'm glad he got to go in the care of such sweet people.

Business response:

Thank you, Zach. It is always so hard to say goodbye to our furry family members and we try to make things as smooth as possible. We will be thinking about you.

We recently rushed our dog Pete in after he ingested a toxic amount of mouse poison. They took him right back and within minutes had him throwing up everything in his stomach. We're so grateful to Dr. Wolfiss and the vet techs who were professional, knowledgable, and worked extremely fast to ensure that Pete was going to be ok. It's been a week and he's doing great, showing no signs of ever eating the poison (silly dog! 😱) Thank you AEH!

Business response:

Thank you for the kind words, Cary. We are so happy to hear that Pete is doing well! Your sweet review will be passed on to the whole team...it really lifts us up when someone is as grateful as you are. Take care and pass our love on to Pete!

My puppy got really sick, really fast. The friendly staff made it easier for me to leave her there. They answered my *many* phone calls and were always so kind and patient with me. Little Raleigh is doing great and I know it’s because of the amazing care she got at AEH!

Business response:

Hi Brandy, we appreciate your kind words and are so happy to hear that Raleigh is doing well. She is such a beautiful girl! Hopefully you won't need us any time soon, but if you do, we are always here. Take care and pass our love on to Raleigh!

Our 13 year old dog had become disabled after a distemper vaccination by our local vet and had not eaten or drank anything for 2 days. We brought him in on Sunday and he was unable to walk or stand up on his own. The staff took him in immediately and gave him I.V. to re-hydrate him and gave him medications to alleviate his discomfort. We left him overnight and were able to pick him up the next day and he was walking eating and drinking on his own. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend the Animal Emergency Hospital and ... read more

Business response:

Thank you so much, Kathy! We appreciate your feedback and are so happy to hear that you had a good experience. No one is ever expecting to take their pet to any ER, but we try to make it the best possible experience in the worst possible moment. Take care, and hopefully we won't have to see you again soon. :)

We had to take our dog in after he was hit by car. They gave us our options but they were supportive of our decision to say goodbye. Dr. Brink was right when she told me I wouldn’t remember much of that traumatic night but I do remember their kindness and compassion. We were given all the time we needed and there was no pressure with anything. They seem to really care about animals and their people.

Business response:

Thank you, Jessica. It is always so hard to say goodbye to our furry family members, and we try to make things as smooth as possible. We will be thinking about you.

We had a very sick little doggie, and this was the first time we have ever had to take our pet to an emergency hospital. We were extremely afraid and upset and the staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. They took excellent care of our Sadie. She was in pain, running a fever, dehydrated and bleeding a lot for such a little dog. The vet was wonderful and calm and reassuring. She was diagnosed with HDS. ( hemorrhagic diarrhea syndrome ) She spent about 20 hours at the clinic, getting iv fluids and when she came home she wa... read more

We had an emergency with our Yorkie after he was attacked by the neighbor’s dog. They got him in right away, stabilizes him and performed surgery in the middle of the night. They kept us well informed and answered all of our questions. Only issue I had was that their phone was busy for over an hour first thing in the morning, I guess that just shows how busy they are.

Business response:

Hi Dan, I am happy to hear that we were able to help you through this scary situation and make your visit as smooth as possible. We hope that Harley is continuing to recover well. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Regarding the busy phone line, this is concerning and we are going to look into it immediately to prevent this from happening in the future. We appreciate you letting us know. Take care and give Harley our love.
