We left our house for 20 minutes and forgot that a bag of dark chocolate candy bars was on the counter. Came home to find our dog had overturned the trash can, ate whatever was in it, and also ate whatever was left of the candy bars, wrappers and all. Google said that dark chocolate is worse for dogs than the regular chocolate so I brought her to the emergency vet. Dr. McNair was our vet and he was awesome, down to earth, and not judgmental. I don't know where to begin. But this place went above and beyond. They sent us a paw print and a beautiful poem. This has been one of the toughest times of our lives losing a pet during Christmas who was a present from a prior Christmas. Thank you guys again it's the only thing in this horrible situation that has left us feeling a little more complete. Thank you angels for your work and may we all meet one day on rainbow bridge. Unfortunately the malice of an ignorant human causes our Boris to be taken from us.

On the evening of 12/12/2015, my Cane Corso Armani was having problems breathing and collapsed. I then noticed his stomach was extremely large & I suspected that he had bloat ( Gastric Dilation Volvulus). My wife & I rushed him to AAVEC where we were helped by the wonderful staff on arrival. Dr. Kim was the veterinarian who examined my dog and she confirmed that he did indeed have bloat. Because my dog was a senior and the damage was extensive, we decided to euthanize him as our last act of love to him. I just want to than... read more

They were wonderful with my sisters 2 year old Morkie! Never once worried about her in the 2 or 3 nights she was there.
