the staff are excellent, expert clinicians yet also calm and compassionate. their skill as well as their kind, patient support brought our little buddy, Cozmo, through a horrific injury. not only did they take great care of him but also supported us through grief and despair, ever hopeful and kindly supportive that he would make a full recovery. and he did. to our delight, they saved this wonderful dog. My dog had a large collection of bladder stones and I brought her in for treatment. The staff was excellent in assuring me that she would be ok and that the surgery was routine. A year later she's a happy, healthy 10 year old.
Having moved here from Salsibury, MD, we have only been in the area for a couple of months. On October 11 we brought our 9 year old German Shepherd, Abby into AAVEC because she was lethargic, not eating, vomited, and was having trouble walking. We knew we couldn't wait to see one of the few regular vets in the area that I had researched, but hadn't gotten the dogs to yet due to my surgery in September and it was a Saturday- in the afternoon. <3 AAVEC are AWESOME! I have been using their services for many many years. First my Ginger girl and now my Kobe boy. Kobe has now had tow back surgeries by Dr. McDonald and his staff and I love them all. I love all the staff at AAVEC as they are very nice, friendly and so much love for what they do. I highly recommend AAVEC to anyone especially for emergencies and surgeries. Thank You ALL!!! :) <3
While the outcome for our precious Molly was not what we had expected or hoped, the care and compassion of the staff was beyond compare. I would recommend to anyone and everyone!
They are there when you need them. Expensive, only been here once and didnt like my experience not due to the staff though
