Today we had to put our Golden Abbey to rest this morning. Abbey took a turn for the worst at 3am. My wife and I were very upset and not knowing if we were making the right choice for our pet. I called and spoke to Tracy, she could tell i was unsure what to do. She explained what the Drs would do and would help us work thru it. When we arrived with tears in our eyes Tracy and the techs and Dr explained what they found. They gave us all the time we needed for our final moments. We have brought our dogs for emergency treatment before. It is very easy to rate 5 stars when the outcome is good. Our last visit the night of May 6th was different. Our beloved female Golden Retriever with so many hidden health troubles was in a final acute crisis. We knew with her condition, her life would be shorter and more likely she would go during a crisis. The veterinarians and vet techs were so kind, gentle and good with her. They really tried to pull her through. But it was a cascade of too much and she wa... read more
