Get directionsMy dog fell over suddenly this last Saturday. I arrived with him only to be told less than two minutes into treatment that he was gone. I already knew it, but in my desperation I would've tried anything. They brought me into a room so I could sit with him until I was ready to say goodbye and was interrupted by a member of their staff handing me paperwork for his cremation, and later after they'd taken that away, a bill accompanied by a staffer saying "whenever you're ready." My best friend was dead. I was sobbing uncontroll... read more

They are way TOO expensive. One night of observation starting at $700 per day. They want it to keep my dog for observation for three days at cost of $2100 to $3000. I knew she has kidney problem from our primary vet. Than After three days of observation they will figure something out.
We took our 10 month old puppy there. He was throwing up with loss of balance. We told the vet tech who came out and got him that he had discharge from his penis and we wanted a urinee analysis done. They charged us $311 to tell us he was “high”. We took him to Bandfield pet hospital the next morning ans it turned out he had a really bad uti! He could have started meds that night but he suffered!
My Chihuahua was initially seen about eight months ago for an acute CHF attack. She was taken to Anne Arundel veterinary emergency clinic where she was also seen by cardiology and found to have a ruptured chordae tendineae in the heart. She was placed on vetmedin and Lasix. Six months later she went for repeat echocardiogram which showed improvement. Unfortunately this week during routine bloodwork it was found that she was in stage 2 kidney failure by her primary vet. We changed her diet which she did not agree with causi... read more

So my dog Bella had been diagnosed with thyroid carcinoma and a few weeks after her diagnosis she started showing some concerning symptoms so in the middle of the night when this was happening and I didn't know what to do for her I brought her into the emergency vet. Before we left home and when she was at the vet she had very little panting, after the diagnosis She had developed some panting issues due to the mass on her neck. So they took her in said they would give me a call with an update after she had been examined, the... read more

We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved pet. Thank you for sharing feedback about your experience with us; we are investigating it internally.
Begin to allow the owners to see their pets. Our dog was gravely ill, in renal failure AND was unable to walk to an acute injury. He was adopted from the Humane Society so he has abandonment issues. He was away from us for 4 days and 3 nights. We did have great communication with the doctors and we believe he received excellent care BUT visitation was never allowed. Our pets need to know we are still in their lives when they are sick and scared!!!

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We are glad to know that you felt confident about your pup's level of care while he was hospitalized.
The veterinarian did not listen to what I was saying, the radiographs were awful and not even pertinent to why my dog was there. I was not told of some findings before I left which would have meant more diagnostics for them. It was clear they didn't want to diagnose my dog, they wanted to give him drugs and get him out the door.
I would recommend nothing about this place.
Was told it was a 3 hour wait time this morning after driving all the way there. Thats eternity when you have a sick pet with a medical emergency. You have to wait outside wondering what’s happening to your pet.
