I'm very concerned about massive floaters in my eye from when I had a detached retina (which Dr. Hanneken cured, by the way). The good doctor and her staff were friendly, courteous and as always, reassuring. It looks like I'll need surgery, but I totally trust Dr Hanneken to do it. She was above and beyond when I had the detached retina.
Dr. Hanneken is always through, encouraging and never makes you feel rushed. She answers any questions and explains your tests and treatment. The staff that does the first 2 or 3 tests are friendly and explain what is going to happen. Things like bright lights flashing in you eyes. All in all a pleasant and efficient visit.
Dr. Hannekin has gone above and beyond to treat both my husband and my eyes. She is a wonderful person and an excellent doctor. She and her staff are always professional and kind. I feel so lucky to have been referred to her!

Dr. Hanneken explained in great detail the reason my optometrist recommended I see her, the possible causes of the issue, and recommended actions, including treatments and adjustments in lifestyle. She thoroughly understood the issue and communicated clearly. It was very reassuring to address this issue with her counsel and care. The staff was helpful and efficient. The office is well run and comfortable.
Dr Hanneken was thorough and professional. Her staff were excellent, professional and respectful. The office was very clean, orderly and pleasant. The vision tests and photographs were numerous and thorough.I did feel a bit rushed with the doctor; but I felt the exam process was thorough.
