Always friendly and explains everything well

Dr. Hanneken is super friendly. I usually get very nervous going to any type of doctor, but Dr. Hanneken was very friendly and listened to all of my concerns and questions. She made me feel like I mattered. I visited her in the La Jolla location and ALL of the staff was super friendly and cared for me.
My first visit with Dr. Hanneken was very nice. she explained everything as she progressed. I had to be worked in because of some date changes made by my normal doctor.
She is very knowledgeable and has saved my eyes on several occasions. She is dedicated, caring and personable, and has a great support staff.
My retina was becoming detached and sight was deteriorating fast. This Doctor got to work on me fast. Thanks
She was efficient, yet personal. I felt comfortable asking questions. She was patient and was calm in her manner.
She’s the best at giving eye injections. She also quickly diagnosed my eye cancer. She’s very kind.
Loved being the first appointment of the day because everything went so smoothly and was fully prepared for Dr. Henneken when she finally arrived. Good news is that I may be close to the end of treatments! Yay!
