Dr Hanneken is always straight forward with me. I appreciate it. If a decision is required I feel I have all the necessary information I need to make a comfortable decision. He ability as a surgeon is STRONG. I would never look anywhere else.She also involved herself in research and education.
Dr. Hanneken has been treating me for several years. She always has a great disposition despite an obviously demanding workload. A couple of years ago, she discovered a retinal detachment on a regular office visit on Dec 22nd. Her office was able to schedule surgery the next day. Their office was closed on Christmas Eve but she came in and opened the office just to perform a follow-up exam to ensure all was well. Been going to Dr. Hanneken for 4 yrs and trust her ability 100%.
Feel so grateful that Dr. Hanneken is my Retinal Specialist. She makes sure you are seen when you need it not 3 months down the road. She is smart, knows her stuff and is really nice on top of all that!!
I was nervous but from the time I walked in the door, I felt welcome. Everyone was positive and supportive. I did have a wait but it was worth it since Dr. Hanneken took her time and explained everything. I knew I had found the right Dr. with such a supportive staff.
I was so thankful that I settled with Dr. Hanneken to do my retina surgery. I saw many retina surgeons and she was the best and nicest to talk to and was the most calming for me about the procedure of any retina surgeon I've seen. Many of the other doctors made me feel very anxious about the possible negative outcomes. I’ve been “fortunate”’to have 2 vitrectomy surgeries in the same eye by Dr. Hanneken. The first was an emergency as I had a detached retina and the second was in the same eye after some cataract surgery complications- also an emergency. The Dr. adjusted her schedule to accommodate me immediately in both cases and both surgeries were most successful!
