They are a horrible company, they make up stuff when you want to cancel! They said that I have to give a 30 day notice in order to cancel however I went back to the original contract and it does not say that then they said that theyre not gonna honor my request to cancel so other words are saying that theyre going to continue to charge me every month even though I requested to cancel for two months now and have the proof to back it up. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! You will never be able to cancel your membership. They will continue to charge your credit card even after you cancel your membership and turn in your key fob. If you complain to corporate, they say there is nothing they can do and you have to talk to your local manager. The local manager will do nothing. When you cancel your credit card to stop the charges, they will turn you over to collections and destroy your credit. Hiring a lawyer to fight them will cost a fortune. This is a NIGHTMARE!

I had an issue as I signed up for an 18 month period, when I received the contract with the total I was to pay in 18 months and I called to ask about the specific charges as the amount seemed very high to me, I wanted some clarification. I also asked about the cancellation policy but never said I wanted to cancel. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. I'm disabled and wanted to sign up for our Local Anytime Fitness. Got signed up, half a year later due to disability I began having issues getting into the gym. I understand I signed a one year contract, but wrote them a letter and mailed it to the establishment asking to terminate my contract early. Never heard back from them and accepted it. The corporate model is awful. All they do is collect money and do not enforce safety standards on their franchisees. I spoke with the owner of the location where I have been frequenting recently. I discussed with him how a member was not securing plates on a barbell with collars when there were plenty available to do so. I told the owner that this is unsafe behavior by a member and increases the chance of injury to other members, as the plates could fall off and roll and hit or drop onto other members. Horrible, dishonest, twist the terms of contract, don't cancel membership after a in person request , threaten you with collection even though they are stealing from you by continuing to bill you when the 30 days is past. Will not answer phone, will not reply to emails, rude manager that is not truthful . Absolutely the worst business I have ever experienced related to customer service and relations. Mean, malicious, and dishonest.

Communication is not easy. Local manager is not versed on how to interact with people. His demeanor and body language gives you the impression he does not care about your business or handling the problem. This company shows no concern for the senior consumer. ***************** we had a fun line dancing class.Great exercise, coordination,balance and most importantly socialization. Dance teaches rhythm and memory. This company ended our class. Money and greed. That's there bottom line.
