Was absolutely loving this office until my sons 6 month check up for vaccines came and the MA Administered one of the combination vaccines incorrect and acted as if it were not a big deal. I was extremely upset and asked to talked to the PA In which also made me even angrier because she stated that the next time my son is seen he can just get the whole combination vaccine again and it won't hurt him one bit. Dr. and his P.A. gave my ex husband (on phone) and me (in person) 2 completely conflicting opinions. When I asked them to acknowledge that the PA issued me a differing opinion the office manager actually told me "I don't know what you think you heard " and tried to tell me I was lying. I had a witness with me at the appointment. The office mgr. didn't realize that. This office on more that several occasions would billing the insurance company with the wrong coding, coding a cold or fever as Down syndrome. Being that the insurance company already knew that my child had DS that was not news to them. However if the insurance company saw that the issue was DS not a cold or flu then wouldn't pay for it, leaving us with a full bill. Thanks for exploiting my daughters disability.
The good things about this office are that they are usually able to get you an appointment pretty quickly. I've never had to wait more than a day for a sick visit. Also they are not super pushy when it comes to spreading out vaccines as opposed to giving several in one visit, which I appreciate. However I found the front office staff to be unfriendly and borderline rude during every visit. The physicians are amazing! However, you must get past the uncompassionate and ill mannered office manager and staff in order to have the physicians see your precious child- and it's just not worth it.
These bit&3$ are something else, I called because I was referred and asked the receptionist which providers are in the central Phoenix location... huge interruption in her day.. she transferred me to a mailbox and I called back explained what happened and she put me on hold.. the hold message/music answered my question, but how sad is it that she couldn't take the time to communicate four to five names?? Bad service, unfriendly staff. Dr. Forshey not very sharp. Likes to prescribe antibiotics.
Staff is unfriendly and rude. They care more about your money and copay than about your kids. This is a "for profit business" in the worst sense and not very human at all. A few good doctors and PAs but they hide behind the terrible staff and layers and layers of people. Someone needs to bring the "human factor" back to healthcare. I do not recommend anyone to take their kids there and I used to take my two daughters there since they were born but not anymore. If it's all about money I will take my insurance money elsewhere.
I agree with some of the other posters, the doctors are knowledgeable and friendly for the most part, especially Forshey and Berger, BUT the office staff is exceptionally rude, unprofessional, unorganized and just in general terrible.
