We've been going to this practice for over 2 years now. It's always been a pleasant experience. However, these last few weeks have been unacceptable. It took numerous unanswered phone calls and 3 voicemails over the span of a week before I could reach someone to schedule my daughter's flu shot. Today we get there and I was told I needed to complete the registration forms via the link that was sent to me 50 mins before my appt time. Writing this with hesitation... but disappointed with Arbor Medical Pediatrics. My daughter has been a patient since she was born. Over the last three years, I have given this practice multiple 'do-overs,' and today's three-year check up has allowed me to make a decision on whether or not I will be continuing with my daughters care with AMP... Appreciate your feedback, dealing with expansion and change is a difficult process. I feel frustrated that my schedule can’t accommodate patients as early as before. it can take 1-2 months to schedule a well exam with me. We are always trying to get same day sick appointments in daily. Dr. LaBras is a nice man. his staff is horrendous. I called to ask about an appointment on a Saturday and the woman answering the phone laughed at me. I asked why she was laughing and she began mocking me. She then said she had never heard of a pediatrician office being open on the weekend. I said that I have lived in New Jersey and in Tennessee and then both places pediatrician offices are routinely open on Saturdays for well visits, non- emergent appointments, and sick appointments up to about noon. I have been taking my daughter here since she was 3 (she is 6 now). It had been great up until the last 2 visits. Right before school started this year I had thought that she may have strep throat or Covid. The male nurse that was responsible for taking the tests was rough, yes the Covid test is tough no matter what age, but I am talking about the temperature check! There really should be an option to leave no stars. My 1 yr old granddaughter has been hospitalized for over a week in critical condition due to Dr. Michael Le Bras NOT listening to my daughter's concerns for the last several months. This is my daughter's first baby and she has exclusively breastfed. Dr. Le Bras has been her pediatrician since she was born and is the ONLY doctor she has ever seen, yet he couldn't remember her from one visit to the next. We were in look for a good pediatrician to move coz our current pediatrician relocated. After all the research and reviews we landed on this practice. No offense but this place didn't meet up to the mark. Their lack of inexperience showed. We have a new born and on our first visit we just wanted to get out of there. Their nurse practitioner was supposed to draw blood from the feet of a new born. She poked and the blood started oozing. Watching a baby get blood drawn is not a pleasant experience. I can’t comment on specific patients, it is against the law. What I can say is that it is our medical assistants not the nurse practioners that usually draw blood. For the State newborn screen, there are requirements to collect enough blood, as well as not dab the blood directly on the collection paper, so it can take time being careful, and unfortunately many babies cry for part of the draw.
