We toured Arbor Terrace Norwood when searching for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. It was a really nice facility. The staff was also very nice. However, we didn't feel like the Memory Care unit was a big enough area for our loved one.
Our family had an in person tour with Arbor Terrace Norwood and overall we thought the tour experience as well as the community we excellent!
Overall the experience at Arbor Terrace Norwood has been positive. There were a few hiccups in the beginning with laundry and cable issues, but it was resolved in a timely manner.
I would recommend them, but you need to stay involved with the staff to make sure everything is going as expected. If they say they will do something , you need to follow up to make sure it was done.
Our family had an in person tour with Arbor Terrace Norwood, and the tour experience was nice but we just did not really like the community as much so we just knew at the end of the day it was not going to be the place for our loved one.
I had a tour last week with there Sales Director [name removed] and it was very informative. He actually took the time to learn about me and my situation as well as then hearing & learning about my dad. It was refreshing to have someone care and ask questions, rather than try to sell me something like a few other places that I regrettably went to the week before. The best thing I did was find Atria, now Arbor Terrace in Norwood. I placed my 87 year old father there in Nov 2019. He loved it.! Took him a short time to get used to it, but he did. He made many friends with the residents. He made friends with all the staff. They all loved him. I was so happy the first time I heard my Father call Arbor, “Home”. My husband is a resident here. The place has growing pains but the executive director is top notch and addresses all concerns immediately. The medical staff is mostly very professional and does wonderful job. So does the girls who shower and dress my husband. The place is immaculate and the girls at the front desk when you enter are great.
It was very comfortable, and a wonderful experience for my loved one. I would recommend it. The staff was friendly, and that was most important to us. It was Covid times, but there were still plenty of activities.
