My mom has been at the Atria Norwood for 3 months. It is a warm, loving environment. She is always happy when we visit, and she tells us how good everyone is to her. The staff is caring and always available to us, sending pictures and sharing what she is doing. We are so happy we found the ATRIA! A special shout out to [names removed] for always going the extra mile. You ladies are the best!!
The community is super friendly. It is beautiful and clean. They are a little disorganized, but the people in their hearts take really good care of the residents. You have to be on top or train the staff and then they are fine with the newly placed residents. Once you are in they are good. In the beginning it is a little rough, you have to be watchful of what they are doing.
The activities provided weren't living up to what we expected, our loved ones enjoyed the food. She was living in a joint room, that shared a bathroom but had separate bedrooms. it was nice and sunny, it had a nice view overlooking the flowers.
It is a very stressful time when you have to ask one of your loved ones to go to a new home. My brother and I, who reside outside of NJ, went on a mission to find a great place for our Aunt. We looked all over and were lucky enough to have found Atria Norwood. Not only is it great looking and well kept facility, the people that work there are top notch. Atria has been great especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The staff is amazing. They have been trying to keep the spirits up with the residents and the communication level they have had with the families has been unbelievable. They even created an app so we could monitor my mother-in-law's vitals from home. To keep the residents entertained they have been taking them on virtual world tours and are teaching them about each place they go. Atria of Norwood has been the best decision I could have made. As an independent Senior resident, I continue to make new friends and enjoy all of the activities that are offered. The staff is always courteous, friendly and willing to assist me with any questions or concerns I may have. It’s a big adjustment for the whole family but Attia has been a godsend. They provide everything my parents need and give comfort to my sister and I knowing that they are safe and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and helpful. Worth every penny spent
WOW! what a beautiful place, feels more like a luxary hotel then a living quarters. Very friendly staff, well sized rooms, very spacious, quite and well maintained. Love that there is a mailbox for each resident. Menu looked delicious.
