Initially the experience was 5 stars, the director [name removed] that was there from [date removed] was just so impressive and great to work with. However once she left certain things just dropped off. We are not a needy family, but when it comes to getting things done for our loved one the response time is extremely slow and sometimes takes day/weeks to get a response so that could be improved.

Our tour at Arbor Terrace was pretty good. It's an older facility, so the rooms were a bit dull and small and needed to be updated. But the staff seemed to be fabulous. They were in the process of updating their memory care to be more progressive by adding in what they called the Bridges program. That hadn’t gotten off the ground yet, so at the time it wasn't the best fit for my loved one's needs.

The people are very very friendly and have been phenomenal. The building is brand new and gorgeous. My loved one has been very happy with the food and loves her room. This a place where my loved one has been happy to move when she had to leave her home of 50 years.
Arbor Terrace seems like a great organization. When we toured there was a music session going on and all of the staff members were very kind and caring. It just did not feel like the right fit for my mother.

Overall it's been a great experience. My family was very concerned about placing our loved one, especially because she didn't really want to go. She always had the image of abuse in these types of places. But it's been a warm, family environment. She says the people there are very friendly. That's been a huge relief for our family, and we've been very happy. The only issue we've had is we opted to use their pharmaceutical company for her medication, and we question the billing sometimes. It seems on the high side, and they b... read more

This seems to be a good community but it was on the main road and was too noisy for my loved one.
