I called Arizona Discount movers and they they to me about what they did during a move and not only did they lie to me about that they stoled and Damaged all my furniture that was no more then a year old and I have filed a claim with them and on top of that one of the guys said today is tip the black ************* the move was Nov 1st **** I filed the claim in Nov and have waited to hear back today is Feb 7th and I have not heard back from them and every time I call they say they say they are still working on it and they tho... read more

It was a completely horrible experience! After I was called twice in 2 hours by the company to confirm my move, the multiple calls came through while I was working. I was not provided to return the calls. However, the company never showed up for the move. Additionally, they did not call me. I waited **** hours for them to arrive. I called the company for the company to tell me they were not coming and was unable to complete my move for various reasons. When booking a move we always make it very clear that we will call 2-3 days prior to the move date to confirm. We tried calling you 2 days prior to your move date to confirm. Your phone was off, and said it was not able to receive incoming calls. We also texted multiple times over a 2 day period. We did not hear from you until 6:30pm the night before the move date. IS***; I was given a window of time: from 2pm -4PM. They were late, I called after 4 and I was given excuses. I called again after 6pm and given more excuses. They offered me a discount if I could roll the move to the following date. Mind you they are with holding my deposit of $155.00. with a non refundable if I cancel. We were scheduled to do in home moving and were trying to work with your request for a late move time frame. We used Arizona Discount Movers to move my 94 year old mother. I was given an arrival time between 11 and 3. Just before 3 oclock I called to see when they would be there. They said they were running a bit late and would be there closer to 5. At about 4:30 they called to say they it would be closer to 7. I tried to explain that just moving was very difficult for my mother at her age, and running this late was adding considerable stress. We were extremely apologetic for running behind for this move. We stayed in touch with the customer the entire time, letting them know that we were running behind due to factors out of our control. This does happen in the Moving industry. On occasion, we even sent a 3 mover at no charge to get the move done at a quicker pace. We were able to get this move completed within an hour and a half a lot quicker than we would have with only two movers. We apologized over and over again. On 6/25/ Discount Movers were to move one heavy (250lb) piece of furniture about 70 ft from one room to anothe room in my home, open area, same floor. I was quoted $ ****** which I agreed to and paid $ ****** up front.Being 79 years old and not in the best of health, I couldn't do it by myself.They showed up 5 hours late and informed me that the cost would be $ ******. I refused and ordered them out of my house. Sounded like a bait and switch operation.I want my $****** deposit back. It's a RIP OFF.

This company moved me on Oct 20,2021firstly they sent a mover with a visable ankle monitor which made me uncomfortable being a handicapped senior. This person disappeared for what I said was 45 minutes leaving the other mover to do all the work. My son in law came to help since the move was going slower. I called the company and spoke to the Manager Miss ** She told me she was aware he had to leave the move and that the monitor should have been placed under his pants. Worst moving company!! Do not use them!! You think your saving money because it's discount you wont. They showed up an hour late. 3 guys with 1 wearing an ankle monitor and one who said he was new. Professional and experienced movers is lie. They took 8.5 hours to move a ***** sq foot house just furniture only. No boxes. 3 beds, 5 night stands, 4 dressers, hutch, desk and tool box. The absolute worse experience with a moving company. They have repeatedly lied, stalled, promised to pay a claim, and have yet to do so. Their Movers were under the influence, late, and did not operate under safe practices for Covid-19. They were significantly late on both sides of my move. I was promised four movers, three were sent, and the move took twice as long for which I was charged. The first move, one mover was under the influence. This review is full of lies. We do follow covid-19 guidelines. This customer bullied our office staff and because we did not put his claim before all other claims. He decided to threaten our staff. Used moving company to pack and move property. Items were tossed into boxes and packaged without care. We had $2000 dollars of stolen property that was reported to the company and police. The company made little attempt to resolve matter.
