Their employee hung up on me and the corporate office emailed with justification for the behavior. I called for a QUOTE on April 7th and spoke with Stephanie. I was just getting a quote. We exchanged email twice. Their quote was not the lowest so I selected someone else. This company was absolutely horrible! I have used lots of large moving companies over the years and this was the worst experience I've ever had! They damaged my washing machine, broke a drinking glass, broke the glass top to my coffee table and damaged the foam pad for my family room rug. When i reached out to them they offered a measly $24.00 for settlement of the above items. They are a total scam! BEWARE!

We have been a business that’s been established in Arizona for going on 44 years with the same name we’ve never changed our name it’s always been Arizona Discount movers in business since 1978. On the 30th of November we hired AZ Discount Movers to move us from Cave Creek, 20 miles, to Rio Verde. Once all of our furniture and belongings were loaded on to their truck we were ready to go however held up due to truck mechanical problems. Once started, after a few hours, it was agreed that they would take everything back to their depot for delivery on the following Monday. I am so shocked by the lies that are being told in this review. I have recorded phone conversations with the complete opposite of what is being said by this customer. We booked this customer for a move, and the day of the move our truck battery was drained by a light being left on. We had already received a phone call from the customer earlier in the morning asking our company if his house did not close in time what would we do for him. I hired them to move my household furniture. I have nice furniture and it is solid and made of cherry. They scratched and banged up my dressers and mirrors. I have broken knobs that they cannot find replacements for. They were late and did not get everything from my house on the truck. They took things apart, but couldn't put them back together. I had a 3 man crew move me in June 2018. They seemed nice enough and pretty darn friendly - even hustled at times. The whole time I had no idea they stole from me right under my nose! I had jewelry stolen from me that I specifically asked them not to touch. A few 14k gold rings - including an old wedding ring and a few 14k gold necklaces. They knew exactly what they were taking and took only the best stuff. Very disappointing experience. The move started 3 hours late and then the movers were negative, complaining about moving our stuff and were careless with my things. I ended up with a broken TV and when brought it to management the situation was handled with poor customer service. I am not satisfied with the outcome of my experience. I was told that the movers have had complaints before and have had concerns but when I requested for a fair settlement, I was denied. Update response: 06/19/18- after doing research on this customer we finally came up with what occurred during this move we listen to phone calls and also look through the claim process of this customer’s claim. We booked this customer for a move for March 13 of 2018. She called and booked her move and we only had an opening in the afternoon. Please do not use this company. They gave me a FOUR HOUR window in which they were coming to move me and they showed up 3 hours LATER which then became moving at night...which i did not want to do I am going to notify the president of this company . They want to give me a $5 discount...i imagine they think i should be grateful! They can never buy back the TIME I LOST and making me move in the dark. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. DONT GIVE PEOPLE A 'TIME FRAME" IF IT MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

This review was written before we even arrived at the home of our customer. We never like to run late on a job. It does not happen very often, and it is sometimes out of our control. We absolutely do not ever have any intentions to ever cause a customer to be upset. We were running late, but we still have every intention to show up to move her.
