Not impressed. Our server had to ask several times what we were ordering because he was paying no attention. And still orders were prime rib absolutely the worst I have ever had.

Had an 8:30 reservation but was not seated until 9:30 because the establishment was overbooked. Front desk attendant was nice but overwhelmed. She started sitting groups without reservations because she lost track of who was who. Once seated, our waitress didn’t really have a clue of her role. It was like it was her first day on the job. Didn’t know the menu, no wine or cocktail knowledge. She ended up bringing the wrong bottle of wine to the table. Service was excellent, food was excellent. Entertain was not too loud and very good. However, we had a problem with the wine list. Apparently, the wine list we were given wasn't "current." We remarked to each other at the table that the Cabs were reasonably priced at all under $100 on the first page of the Cabs. We even noted that the last listing on the first page of Cabs was out of order in terms of price at $75, less than the 2 above it. The wait to get a drink at the bar was longer than expected due to the holiday and not enough bartenders. Waited 45 min to get a table even though we had a reservation. The guest were more senior which made for an interesting environment. The music was louder than I would have expected from an upscale steakhouse.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at this steakhouse. Our party consisted of two adults and two children, and I specifically asked for the kids’ menu. To my shock, the waiter responded, “I didn’t see any children.” Such an insensitive and rude comment is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I wanted to order something from the à la carte menu, only to be told repeatedly that it was unavailable. We have been here numerous times and everything has been great. I don't know what happened this time but my prime rib was the toughest I have had anywhere! To top it off last night and this morning a friend of mine and I were both sick and the only thing we both ate were oysters on the half shell.

The good: * dessert was delicious * the ribeye's flavor was nice * crab cake was yummy * waiter was attentive * live bad was talented The bad * asked for a filet with medium doneness, and ribeye medium rare. Food was delivered with filet rare in the middle, and the ribeye was medium (overcooked per order). I think they mixed up the request. Sent the filet back. Didn't bother sending the ribeye back. Music from bar was too loud in main dining room. Should have some type of buffer between bar and dining room.

It's quite a grand space, and food and service were very good. But there was LOUD music in the adjoining bar space, too loud to enjoy dinner all the way at the other side of the BIG dining room. That there were only two other tables occupied at 7:30 on a Friday night tells you there's a problem. I would not recommend.
