My experience with KB homes was dreadful. Six days before closing I receive an email from Arturo stating that I would not be closing. This put me in a panic considering they have had my paperwork since end of July and we are now at the end of August. I immediately called asking what the problem was and what documentation was needed to close on the house. Better communication first and foremost. When the loan was initially applied for Arturo told us it would take, "3-4 business days" to complete the underwriting process and he would be in contact with us soon. Fast forward 5-6 business days and I had to call him for an update in which he told me, "we're backed up, but it will be done by the end of the week." Misspelled my name on multiple documents over the past 9 months, received very limited communication form him, spent more time interacting with his assistant, required us to pay and take a homeownership class a week before closing, when the content would have benefited us at the start of our process.
