I had a dentist appointment today for X-rays and an exam today. I live in Pampa. My fiancé, and myself drove all the way to Amarillo today for my 10:45 appointment only to arrive, and find a note on the door stating there was an emergency closure for today, and missed appointments would be rescheduled for a later date. I think it’s incredibly unprofessional of the desk staff to not have contacted me beforehand either by email, or phone call to inform me of this decision. Had appointment for cleaning scheduled six months in advance. My appt. card said. 11:30. E-mail reminder showed 11:00 with no explanation. When I arrived on time, receptionist was on phone. I said "good morning. " She looked up. I signed in. Then I waited and waited. When 12 p.m. came, they went into a staff meeting and just put a sign on the desk. I got ready to leave. My dad received the worst service imaginable he bleed for over two weeks after two ER visits they finally got the bleeding to stop! Please do not let your loved ones go here! They told him they would work with him on billing well that’s a lie too! Please DO NOT use this place! I would like to write a complaint to dental board if anyone knows who I contact! No corporate office to contact! This place is a joke!
They told us that a root canal was infected and there were 5 cavities in our daughter's mouth. Also that she needed to have her wisdom teeth cut out. Went back to the dentist who did the root canal and he informed us it was still healing and she's too young to have her wisdom teeth pulled. I will never go back to Aspen Dental!
I truly wish I could rate this place less than 1 star. A year ago my son had his wisdom teeth pulled and I paid our portion of the bill. They have been sending me bills for the insurance portion for a year, because they will not send the required information to the insurance company! I waited 45 minutes just for cleaning. While waiting I was called twice about that I don’t have a dental insurance which I have the same for the last 5 years on top she wanted to charge $45 for something I denied to have. My experience’s have always been pleasant before with very professional dentists. I’ve had extensive teeth pulled about 3+ years ago due to many years of medication that drives my mouth out and has ruined my teeth. They made partials for me afterward. They have never fit well, especially the bottom, and are problematic and painful when I eat with them in, which is very embarrassing when eating out.
