Shame on anyone that doesn't have a problem letting a hungry baby cry! Shame on anyone that would try to deny a mother to feed her child! Shame on anyone that thinks that it is acceptable to grab a hungry child from their mother due to pure ignorance! And finally shame on EVERYONE else that was there for not standing up for this mother and her child. You all should really be ashamed! I'm embarrassed for you because this reprimanding won't stop until it is made right. She deserves an apology not only from this silly person bu... read more
I have been made aware that one of your dental hygienist made a mother feel ashamed about breastfeeding her child in your office. She told her it was against office policy which is against the law in Alabama. She actually took the child out of her mothers arms and strapped the child in the stroller! You will never have my business or anyone I know! I expect you will be making a formal apology to this woman!
I am very disappointed that a female hygienist/assistant was misinformed or under informed that the law allows any women in the state of Alabama to breastfeed her child any place she is legally allowed to be. She alluded to the mother that there was a policy in place against breastfeeding in the dentist's office. We know this couldn't be further from the truth b/c that would be against the law. I expect that the dentist and hygienist will issue a formal apology to the shamed mother and that the hygienist will be educated on ... read more
I have been made aware that a woman was made to feel bad nursing her infant son while in your office. Not only is this illegal (in the state of Alabama a woman is allowed to nurse wherever she is allowed to be), but the woman that was accosting her at your office also TOOK HER CRYING CHILD out of her arms and put the baby into the stroller? That is also illegal as she had no right to take my friends baby out of her arms. You all should get your rules straight because my friend did nothing illegal, it was your office and your... read more
Shameless and disrespectful staff at this location.
A friend of mine was made to feel ashamed at your office today for nursing her infant. The hygienist/assistant even had the nerve to take the child from their mother. You claim to be "non-judgemental" but what happened today was not only judgemental, it was also illegal.
Shame on Aspen Dental staff for making a nursing mother feel humiliated for feeding her child at the doctor's office. Not only it is rude and cruel, it is also illegal. As a mother of two, I would never patronize this family-UNfriendly business.
To know that one of your staff members had the audacity to remove a child from his mother's arms, simply because she was feeding him the natural way, guarantees that I would never visit your facility... EVER! And I will make sure that no one I knows will ever visit your facility either! Shame on your staff member.
A nursing mother was treated very poorly by one of your staff. What happened was an extremely bad decision on the part of your employee. Please reply to these posts and explain how you are working to rectify this situation. At the least the mother who was involved should NOT be charged for the horrible "care" she received in your hands.
