Absolutely disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves. No respectable person/office makes a woman feel ashamed for feeding a baby. You don't deserve to be in business.

Disgusting establishment. In no way is it ever ok to touch someone's infant without permission, let alone physically remove a feeding infant from their mother. That is borderline assault and unacceptable.

I'm appalled at hearing that one of your staff members took a crying baby out of a patients arms because she was offended that the mother was nursing her child. Alabama state law states the mother can nurse the child anywhere the mother is allowed to be. Have your employees made aware. And I sincerely hope appropriate action is taken on this person. No excuse for a mother to have to leave in tears because she was feeding her child!!! Ignorance.

If I could give zero stars I would. I am appalled at how any professional woman could treat a patient so disrespectfully, shame her for FEEDING her child, and go as far as to touch that child without asking. Not a good representation of your business to have someone like that employed there.

Unacceptable behavior and completely disrespectful and ignorant to tell a mother she may not feed her child as it is against "your policy". Aspen Dental, please educate your staff on the laws & rights of a breastfeeding mother. And I challenge to ask you, had this mother been giving her child a bottle, would you have acted and done the same thing? #normalizebreastfeeding and #nurseon

Angered to hear that a young mother of a nursing baby was denied her legal rights to feed her child in public today at this office. This is not only ignorant but illegal according to Alabama state law. It's unfortunate that the quality of dentistry here is being overshadowed by ignorant staff members. I promise you if something like this happened to me in any place of business every single person in the establishment would know about it as well as the news and everyone I know on social media. Really, really bad for business.

Shame on you Aspen Dental! How dare you assault a child and rip him off his mothers breast while she is nursing and tell her she can not nurse at your office. So disgusted!

I am aware that one of your employees shamed a mother and nursing infant today while in your facility. I certainly will not recommend your office to anyone I know. Very very disappointed!!! There should be an apology made publicly for this ridiculous situation.

I am outraged to have discovered that your practice not only does dental work but shames and harasses nursing mothers as well. At no point should your staff ever place their hands on a nursing child or humiliate a mother for nursing said child. This mother was informed by your hygienist that there was an office policy against her nursing in your place of business. I truly hope that you investigate this statement as any such policy is strictly prohibited by law. I imagine the owners/partners/investors in your office will be i... read more
