I went to Aspen Dental in Defiance for a second opinion. I would love to say I was really glad I went. The actual care was good. But it took 3 hours! For a second opinion? In between the X-rays (which she said she had to do EACH tooth!!) and seeing the dental hygienist, It took about 45 minutes. After seeing her, I had to watch a video and then waited over 30 minutes again. I had to wait a hour and 15 minutes before Dr came in I'll give them one more chance if I have to wait that long again I will find a new dentist if I was a hour late I couldn't say oh I was busy and it would be OK my time is just as important as there's.

It started out bad and got worse. We waited an hour to be seen. We waited another hour for the Dr. We were told by the central office that a crown costs $704. We find out that is for a metal crown and that the Defiance office doesn't even use metal crowns. The crown is in fact over $1100. That my friends is called bait and switch. We walked out never to return. The lady that reviewed the charges with us, looked at us like we were something she scraped off the bottom of her shoe.

These people are crooks! I do not recommend. They give you a toothbrush toothpaste make you believe it's a gift they give you no option to refuse they do not discuss cost and then they bill you $70 for toothpaste and $130 for the toothbrush. I don't think they know what give means. They do oral cancer screenings without asking I believe those are seventy or eighty dollars and their cost to do fillings is ridiculous. Terrible. Only the dental assistant was friendly and I waited 3 hours for them to tell me I had to come back to get my crown.

My very first appointment I went in and had to be rescheduled because all there equipment was "down" whatever no big deal I guess. So I went in for my second appointment after being told my insurance was ok. During my consultation to discuss cost I'm told it may NOT be ok! I've been waiting two days on a call back I've called everyday and have been promised a call back within 15 minutes. I was very very nervous but the dentist was so patient and restored my faith after a bad experience somewhere else. I have defiantly found my new dentist.
