I called ahead to verify my insurance was in network and to make sure I was getting a cleaning while I was there as I had to take time off of work. I will say the staff was ok but I did not have a proper exam and I was told that the hygienist went home because she didn’t have any appts. Umm... what do they think I was? I was an appt. I took time out of my day for this appt and they couldn’t show me the respect of sticking around to do my scheduled cleaning. I will not be going back there!!
I have been very nervous about visiting what I thought was a CLINIC... I was informed they weren't a clinic and they were right!! I got my original set of dentures from a clinic in South Carolina, and man THEY were the WORST ever!! Terrible wait times, HOURS at a time! The dentures are the worst fitting ... I have to paste them in 3 to 4 times a day! So far, Aspen has treated me with kindness and respect. I went there for the first time and they gave me some options for a tooth that had been bothering me. I chose the 742 dollar option, i paid for it and went to the back to get the work done. 2 weeks later i get a bill in the mail for 249 dollars. When i called them, they said it looks like they charged someone else bill to my account. They then told me to call back in a week to make sure it was taken off my account. Ya i felt like i got ripped off my self i knew what i need and scared the living crap outta me i so wish i had the 800 number to complain and get a refund. Didnt even look at my xrays yanked my head back n hurt it.
Horrible service from the front office. My husband and I were both over charged, they claimed after i called and complained that it was a simple miscalculation. They also tried to charge me for a free cleaning(i get 2 a year through my insurance) they refused to call my insurance to check after i told them they were wrong. We will be finding another dentist.
I went to Aspen Dental in Flint in May of 2016 and they told they would do a cleaning, but when I got there they only did a consultation in which they told me I had 9 cavities after only looking at my teeth for a minute or 2 and not looking at my x-rays at all. They also told me I needed a $150 tooth brush and that for the cavities, tooth brush, and some special tooth paste they told me I needed my total there would be $650 after insurance!!!
