Was told on the phone when I scheduled the appointment that it would be no charge since it was my first visit to Aspen Dental. Arrived at the appointment and was charged because it was not a cleaning. Also waited over two hours, in pain, just to get an X-ray of my tooth.

Business response:

I'm so sorry to hear this, Sonya. Everyone should feel comfortable at an Aspen Dental practice. Please call our Patient Satisfaction team at 1-866-273-8606 so they can address concerns with respect to billing and the overall visit. - Emily, ADMI

The front dest staff were very nice, very sympathetic to me being in such pain. Val, the dental assistant, was very nice as well, comforting me (I'm deathly afraid of dentists) and I felt like she cared that I was scared and in pain. The dentist, Dr Heinrich, does not have very good rapport or "bedside manner" what we RNs call it in the hospital. She was not sympathetic at all, it was almost like I was a burden to her... like she really didn't want to be there. She barely smiled, her tone was not welcoming at all, and her pr... read more

My initial appointment took over 2 hours. It should have taken about 15 minutes. They apologized and said not to judge them by the first visit. I came back the very next day for a cleaning and they were still about 20 minutes behind schedule. My time is just as important as your time. If you don't have time to get me in, then don't book it. I have three more family members that need to go next. I hope they don't run into the same time problems that I did.

They were able to get me an appointment within the week, which is phenomenal considering the dentist my insurance assigned me told me it would be June 27th before I could get in. The staff were very friendly. I'm terrified of the dentist, and they did a great job at making me feel a little less nervous. I really only have three complaints. Dr. Heinrich didn't seem friendly at all. It honestly seemed like I was being a burden to her by being there. Very poor bedside manner. Though she did get the job done. So it is what it is... read more

My poor husband went in for a couple crowns to be put in and the dental hygienist or dental assistant was "cleaning" (scraping) his teeth and popped a part of one of his tooth off. Then she tried to pass it along as she was just "rinsing" out his mouth. She told the dentist that she did nothing wrong, and my husband said that she was scraping his tooth. When he felt that it popped off and heard it get sucked into the tube. Then they put the permanent crown that was meant for his entire tooth, on the partial tooth that she br... read more

The only reason they get one Star is because their front text staff did their very best to make light of a crappy situation. I waited for over an hour for a dental technician, who overslept, to show up late. Pathetic. She laughingly walked in 70minutes late, and announced to everyone that she forgot she had to work on a Saturday. No thank you to chain dental stores. Won't be back
