I am so upset. I'm practically in tears.I am not a rich woman. I went to the South Lakeland location and was quoted a price of $357.00 for a procedure to be done in Plant City. Today the procedure was done. I came in and made my payment. As I am sitting in the chair right before the procedure. the business office manager comes in and says I owe another $228.00. she said I was quoted incorrectly. A few weeks ago I had my first (and only) appointment with this dentist’s office. I decided to try Aspen because of their flexible hours and the fact that this location was close to my work in Lakeland. It’s hard for me to make appointments sometimes because I work in Lakeland and live in Orlando. Even after several of my coworkers cautioned me about chain dentists and Aspen in particular, I still decided to give them a chance because I was happy about the flexible hours they have. I just had a check up from another dentist in November 2017 and was told I needed one crown replaced. However, when I went here, they told me I need three crowns and 3 fillings. I know I need two crowns but I'm not sure about all the other stuff. I will discuss on my next visit.
This office has the most unprofessional rude front desk staff. They told me and even advertise free new patient exams and x-rays but that is a lie. They tried to charge an outrageous amount just to tell me how much it would be to do the work on my tooth. I would never recommend this office to anyone. I wish I knew the girl at the front desks name because she was horribly rude! Wouldn't give these people a dollar of my money ever. Definitely the most unprofessional dental office I've ever been to!
They kept telling me they had plenty of payment plans and i was there a total of 4 hours after xrays and seeing dentist and when they were ready to pull my tooth bc i was in a world of pain they tell me i dont qualify for their 2 financing options so unless i have $297 right now im screwed. Thanks for nothing. Thanks for wasting my time and being deceitful! You could have ran my credit when i got there and not wasted my time and put me in more pain. Horrible! Scandalous!
Waited for an hour with still a full waiting room and finally left! What a waste of my time! Horrible first experience for what was supposed to be a new patient. I will be a new patient but someplace else.
The District Manager called today to see how she could help Mike. He said you can return my money. She said, NO, we are not going to do that. Then she kept asking how they could make it good. He said return my money. Neighbor said they had this same thing happen so the wife cancelled hers. Aspen then tried to charge her for a missed appointment even though she had cancelled it a week ahead of schedule. PEOPLE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. I AM NEXT CONTACTING THE ATTORNEY GENERAL
Great office staff. Terribly unorganized billing department. I am do not have dental insurance and was ready and more than happy to provide payment following my initial exam. However, I was told the new patient appointment fee was waived for those without insurance. This is apparently untrue, as I have now received another bill for this visit.
