If I could give this place a lower than 1 rating I definitely would. The dentist and hygienist I don't really have an issue with so far but the incompetent front office staff are seriously a bunch of scam artists. Steer clear of this place it's not worth the hassle.

They don't care about their patients, all they care about is the money. I have insurance, was told the total bill before my insurance was over $5000 to pull 18 teeth, my insurance pays 80% but I still have to pay over $4000 to get them pulled, I am disabled and don't have that kind of money. The places that you can get financed through didn't approve me. They told me very coldly to go to the health department. Piss poor service. They Cancelled my appointment and did not tell me. I tried to call, at their request and was put on hold for 10 minutes and hung up on. Called back multiple times. No answer... for some strange reason this office tries to reschedule my appointment every single time. I even got a text this morning saying that they were looking forward to seeing me at my appointment today. Time to look for a new dentist

The office staff is very rude. They place you hold without even asking if you can hold. When the phone rings they place you on hold again and don't say a word. When they finally answer the phone they don't say thank you for holding or even acknowledge that you had to hold a long time. The dentist that I saw was very short & curt. When I told her I couldn't afford the treatment she was suggesting she told me I could have my tooth pulled but it would be against her wishes. Awful experience. Been there twice for 2 wisdom tooth extractions and they weren't done. The first time after sitting over an hour I was told that they didn't have the tools to extract them. The second time I was left sitting in the dentist chair for 2 hrs and later was told that the dentist couldn't see me because of the time and they had to close. I asked them for my records and called customer service to file a complaint. Ridiculous the time I waisted.

I was in the waiting room for 40 minutes for a 5-8 minute cleaning. It was the most half @$$ cleaning I've ever received. The hygienist was extremely rough. I usually bleed a little from the flossing, but she didn't even floss and how much I bled was ridiculous. I'll never go back. I may try the North Lakeland location, but chances are, I'll be looking for a new dentist in 6 months. I'm still bleeding 30 minutes later...

Getting dentures was a real challenge for me. However, the people at Aspen Dental were wonderful, and helped in any way they could. The dentists were very capable and did excellent work. They put me at ease with their kindness, care, and smiles. The rest of the staff were very kind and helpful too. I can highly recommend Aspen Dental South.

I scheduled an appointment for a check up and cleaning. I learned my wisdom teeth needed to be removed so I scheduled an appointment for the removal with the oral surgeon. RIGHT before my appointment I call to confirm and I was told the oral surgeon is no longer with their office. I guess they didn't think this was important information to tell me.
