Aspen Dental in Pooler is unreliable and impossible to work with. They said my 14 year old daughter who never had a cavity ever, suddenly needed 3 root canals and 3 crowns and had 5 other cavities. I took her to our old dentist and two of the 3 teeth they said needed root canal are not even fully erupted and my old Dentist was flabbergasted that they could even suggest doing a root canal and putting crowns on teeth that aren't even grown in all the way. They failed to even tell us that her gum tissue surrounding these back t... read more

I like the hygienists and the dentists, but when I walked in today, I was told without any explanation of the charges that my regular six month check up/cleaning would be $44. I assumed this was my insurance copayment. After the dentist checked my teeth, the hygienist applied a fluoride treatment. When I was brought to the front, I was told that the $44 was for the fluoride treatment. Had I known, I would have refused it. I think that's a very shady practice to not inform your patients of what they are being charged for befo... read more

I like the people I like the office and even the prices are not that bad. I was really hoping to find someone that I liked after my dentist in Savannah has retired. Sadly this is not going to be the case. I needed 6 Billings and one of the teeth I was told had a deep cavity. They wanted to do a root canal or have it pulled, I wanted neither. The tooth is not bothering at me at all so I certainly don't want it pulled and I'm not about to drop $1,500 on a root canal at this moment. I made an appointment to have several feeling... read more

Upon arriving to the office I was initially informed by the secretary that my cost would be $219.00, and I asked her to give me a break down of my charges and if my dental insurance covered any of my services. She became a little frustrated and spoke with the office manager and was able to decrease my bill to $109 after further research and determined my insurance did pay the majority of my services. I paid the $109 and began my services and was then told that my insurance would not cover the X-ray cost. I explained to the s... read more

They "fixed" a cavity of mine, but actually left a hole in it bc it wasn't filled properly which I got fixed at another dentist bc I didn't want to go back after how much I paid to get it done.

If you're in pain don't expect to get any pain medication, they just tell you to come back in a week if it's still hurting. Won't be going back...

The staff is nice enough but they put me on some plan and took additional X-rays over and above what my plan pays, didn't tell me about it and then tried to charge me for it. Did the same with my children! Is it too much to ask to just have our teeth cleaned & checked twice a year for which we are covered??? You just lost 4 patients with decent insurance.

Went to The Pooler Office & for over an hour she drilled, pulled , beat, banged ,sprayed, split ,drilled some more but was unable to remove the tooth! She sent me to the Abercorn office to Dr Christy & she was able with great effort to remove the remaining 2/3 of the split broken tooth! A bad experience altogether!!
