I went there for a 2nd opinion. The first dental office I went to I had a groupon for and not only did they make me feel like a 2nd rate customer. They kept announcing I had a groupon to one another. At the end of that appt they said I needed $800 in dental work. I take pretty good care of my teeth, brush and floss everyday. This news devastated me. My daughter drove an hour to get there only to be told because she is 20 she does not qualify for the 1st free exam. The woman at the front desk was very rude about it. When we made the appointment I told the guy that she was 20 and he said either her insurance will work or if there is a problem it is free 1st visit for new customers. I informed him twice that she is 20. Very upset that she drove 2 hours round trip for nothing.

Horrible place. I called originally for emergent services to which the lady on the phone couldn’t confirm if they had them or not. The scheduler-lady scheduled me on a Monday, only for the people at Aspen to say, oh she shouldn’t have because what I had going on was emergent. That the lady scheduling doesn’t understand the urgency of things because she’s, well, …not a dentist. Ok cool. Understandable. REscheduled me for the follow day around a similar time. Aspen dental had the audacity to discriminate against a Somali senior citizen by refusing to provide interpretation service. They literally told this man to get an interpreter on his own otherwise they won’t be able to provide Emergancy dental services. Mind you, he was referred from the hospital and they were the dental office on call when he went into the emergency and they were aware he needed interpreters services. trying to call & get a human being on the phone but all it allows is to leave a message. I don't want to leave a message, I want to talk tosomeine. I even tried the emergency line & it kept throwing me in circles with the automated system. VERY poor 1st impression from a new patient. taking my business somewhere that they answer the phone.

The friendliness of the dentist is poor. He was somewhat rude and didn't care to hear my concerns- no empathy, sympathy, etc.

I heard the receptionist making derogative comments to the office manager about me, around the corner. When I questioned the office manager about it, she lacked remorse or an apology; and said “she dealt with it.” Needless to say that is one of hundreds of issues I have had with this location. With that said, the Monticello location is SPECTACULAR; totally worth the drive!
They took many expensive and unnecessary x-rays before I even saw the dentist. They also recommended an expensive cleaning procedure I had never needed before. When I finally met the dentist, he literally recorded the presence of each of my teeth. When I questioned the need for the cleaning, he muttered something I could not understand and slunk out of the room, leaving his assistant to explain the need for this expensive cleaning.
