Well good staff and clean environment. I had a toothache that turned out to be an abscess from a lost( fell out)!cavity filling. Free CONSULTATION and free x rays for the first visit. And I got prescribed penicillin. Only downfalls, x rays were very rough and not well rehearsed. Did not like her taking my x rays. Trust me I had braces I can handle rough, but these were unlike anything I had In my mouth today. My own fault I don't have good dental. But I'm still getting a tooth pulled from here so we will see.
I originally went in on the 20th, we talked about the cost of the work, checked my insurance, established they would cover 60%. It's now the 26th and the only thing that I heard from them was this silly " Would you recommend us " review. They done nothing since the 20th, so this is the best I can do.
My first appointment was great. Their hygienist is fantastic. But when i went back for a simple filling i ended up with severe mouth pain. I went back twice and Dr. Kahn kept drilling deeper and deeper into the filling. My mouth pain improved but would not go away. I finally got into a new dentist and he told me that they used a more expensive filling. Plus there was a void under the filling that was causing my constant pain. End up paying twice to fill the same tooth.... Thanks Aspen Dental! !!
I've never felt so traumatized after a dental visit. The staff were not welcoming whatsoever & toward the end of my visit I found out I was not even going to be getting a cleaning, only a consultation where I found out how much they'd be charging me for the dental work I supposedly need. The office smelt of smoke and nobody seemed as if they wanted to be there. My mistake for going to a business oriented practice rather than a family dentistry. Learned my lesson the hard way.
The hygentist was friendly and very helpful. The office staff seemed rather cold and didn't seem to know how to smile. There seemed to be a minor problem with my insurance and it delayed my appointment by 1/2 hour. I have worked in customer service for most of my life, and the reception staff could definitly use some training. Not very happy with this my second visit.
Actually I have never been there but 4 times now while driving wb on Division there has been several Aspen Dental employees outside in back smoking. The last thing I would want is a hygienist who just got done have a cigarette working on my mouth. This is definitely not good advertising.
They say the exam and x-rays are free the 1st appointment is bullshit cause I'm paying 486.00 cause they didn't get to x-ray my whole mouth cause I was in so much pain I could hardly open my mouth.. So what they say is fake. I wouldn't recommend this dentist to my worst enemy..
