Dentist never looked in my mouth yet agreed with tech that I need $5000 “deep cleaning”. Went for a second opinion elsewhere in which the dentist did a real exam and found a deep clean wasn’t even close to necessary.
Thought I finally found a great dentist/office I was wrong they did great in getting me a same day emergency appointment and dr cheek did great with the two extractions I needed but that's all I can say that's positive about aspen dental and this office. It sucks when you have a good dentist but the company and office are not up to par. The one and only reason I’m not giving them the lowest possible rating be because of friendliness of the staff. Went this morning to get checked out due to tooth pain. Come to fine out I needed a couple things done to remedy that along with some fillings and having my wisdoms removed. The employees are very nice people. The dentist I was assigned to, however, would benefit from additional education. The sub-standard care I received will cost me a small fortune to repair (NOT at Aspen!)
I went to Aspen last year, and was left feeling a bit mislead, and even ashamed of myself, for allowing yet another dental place to take advantage of me and my denture issues. While the new dentures from Aspen look and fit better, they do not address the main issue that brought me to Aspen. Someone at Aspen showed me an example of what my denture would look and feel like. My 1st time experience of getting any of my teeth pulled (yesterday), wasn't as bad as I had thought. I got it pulled bc it was already loose, due to bone loss beneath it, and it couldn't be saved, however, according to the xrays, the Dr.says that I'm gonna need partials, bc she said, that beneath a majority of my teeth, I have a lot of bone loss. Staff was ok. Still trying to understand where this place gets off with their prices. Told me I needed a root canal and had 13 cavities that needed to be taken care of- I take pretty good care of my teeth, mind you. Told me $1,500 out of pocket after all my insurance coverages just for the root canal. Went to get a second opinion, still suggested root canal but was told I had a couple areas they want to keep an eye on, but nothing about 13 cavities! So $289 for a root canal...
