I was never told I could just get one x-ray done of the tooth I wanted pulled instead of my entire mouth being x-rayed and having an hour and a half appointment. The person who took the x-rays got huffy when I said I didn't want the extremely long initial consult. Not my fault, I wasn't asked - they just assumed. So I paid for my x-ray and short visit. I am still waiting on the patient satisfaction team to call me and help take care of a serious issue with Erin (the office manager). I will update or write another review if my situation is resolved. Nothing but UPSALES. If you like being pressured to spend allot of money this is the place for you. $225 to pull a tooth is way high. They make you think they are giving you a deal by over pricing everything on the estimate and then dropping the price. They show you prices on line that are low but you will never get those prices. I'm surprised they don't charge for toilet paper when you use the bathroom. Shop around and run from these guys.
Try to upsell everything. Went for cleaning and exam. Wouldn't do normal cleaning, wanted to do very expensive deep clean procedure. Specifically asked for a cleaning and exam when making the appointment. Never got a cleaning. Wanted almost 7000 dollars for the work they said I needed. Staff was good, exam was good. Too much about upselling.
I had a cleaning done on the 01-02-2018, and had not received my insurance card yet. The cleaning experience was great! I received my insurance information, and called Aspen Dental with my information in Jan expecting it to be filed with my insurance company. I have there Dental First credit with them, and was billed at the end of Jan for the full amount of the cleaning. Absolutely the worst experience. It's all about the money. Shoving their hard metal and plastic devices in my mouth for no less than 20 xrays. I told the girl after each one how much it hurt especially the broken tooth but she kept telling me the Doctor won't see me without all the xrays. Considering the pain I was in they could have waited on the xrays. Then they told me after all that i have to take antibiotics for 10 days so they can't pull the tooth today. Do not expect to be seen at your scheduled appointment time. I had to schedule multiple days to fix some issues and on each appointment I would be called back on time, but Dr. Sherpa would not come in on average about 45 minutes to an 1 hour later, then tries to rush through. One of the times she came in, numbed me up, and by the time she came back the shots had worn off. They also made two mistakes on me, causing me to have to have an emergency root canal and come back twice for a wrongly measured crown.
Service was horrible!!! So I scheduled a Dentist appt. at Aspen Dental for yesterday at 515. I did this because I would be able to make the appointment without having to take hours off of work, also because they were able to get me in sooner than anywhere else. After that called your name to come in. Right away xray machine. I clearly asked the technician if the xrays are Free, she said let me check, came back she said yes the xrays about 6 or 8 . Gum exam, all this Free. Just for a tooth ach crown came off. Day before. No work was performed on my person. Then that said the advisor has to talk with me, was double booked.
