No activities available on weekends unless lead by residents. Food is too repetious and way too much chicken and fish. Baked potato is a luxury. No activities on the weekends and too many changes to the activity calendar. They spend too much time on activities they want instead of activities that would get residents out of their rooms. Very few informative classes. A creative activity director and one more assistant. The facility is fairly good. Lots of repair work going on now.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of activities and outings for the residents. The grounds in the front of the building are well maintained but not in the back of the building. Sidewalks need power washing, path lighting needs new bulbs, very little landscaping. The biggest complaint is about the food. Some items served cold (like a cheeseburger!!), portions are very small. You get what you pay for, it's the cheapest place on the market for a reason. Flies are a constant problem. Mgmt. had an exterminator come in to get rid of them all, but they're back in full force, especially in the dining area. To sum up - this place is filthy. The carpets in these cabinets hallways really need to be cleaned, not just vacuumed. The cleaning lady, [name removed], is very nice. She does her best to clean, but there's too much beyond her control due to the deterioration of this place.

All are a (5) except #6 Food. My dad hasn't been happy with the menu options. It is exceptionally clean and the staff is friendly, helpful and pleasant.

The food isn't fit to feed hogs. The owner Grace Mgt is mean toward the residents. We are treated like inmates. The place is infested with cockroaches. The mental condition of most residents is so poor that they require nursing care.

It was fantastic for a while and we overlooked some of these things because she was happy here. They do not fix anything. She had ripped screens in her room and the lights would go out in her apartment and they would not come to replace anything. The rooms are pretty old, they do not repaint or clean any of the rooms before new residents move in. They are also supposed to clean weekly but all they do is vacuum. My mom has been locked in her room for the entire pandemic so her meals are served in her room and she is not allow... read more

It is a beautiful place but very lacking in cleanliness and in nutrition. So sad how much the facility has gone down in the past year. I am hoping they wake up before everyone has moved. Several residents have moved stating poor food is the main reason they have moved.

I only stayed a few months. The staff is rude and lazy. The administrator screams in your face if you disagree with him. It is called independent living, but more people have caregivers than those like me. The same people clean your rooms and serve your food. They do neither well. I would not recommend them to anyone. Many of the activities are on paper only. Everything is very poorly organized. Facility was dirty with food on the floor overnight, sometimes for days. First floor dining room and atrium rarely cleaned.

Having been a resident here for almost two years, I felt the need to offer my opinion about this facility. In general, my advice would be to get whatever you are told or promised in writing, signed and dated. When inquiring about benefits, I was told that a manager would be on site at all times, and it started out that way until we were informed that managers would now be living off site and we were given Great Call buttons to press instead.
