It is a beautiful place but very lacking in cleanliness and in nutrition. So sad how much the facility has gone down in the past year. I am hoping they wake up before everyone has moved. Several residents have moved stating poor food is the main reason they have moved.

I only stayed a few months. The staff is rude and lazy. The administrator screams in your face if you disagree with him. It is called independent living, but more people have caregivers than those like me. The same people clean your rooms and serve your food. They do neither well. I would not recommend them to anyone. Many of the activities are on paper only. Everything is very poorly organized. Facility was dirty with food on the floor overnight, sometimes for days. First floor dining room and atrium rarely cleaned.

Having been a resident here for almost two years, I felt the need to offer my opinion about this facility. In general, my advice would be to get whatever you are told or promised in writing, signed and dated. When inquiring about benefits, I was told that a manager would be on site at all times, and it started out that way until we were informed that managers would now be living off site and we were given Great Call buttons to press instead. My mom has lived there for 7 years. Great caring managers and delicious food in the beginning, but in the last couple of years, management, meals, and genuine caring have gotten worse as prices have risen. It looks like they are cutting corners in the kitchen. Mom complains that the meals are not appealing in terms of flavor and presentation. Edges of the dining tables are sticky every time I visit.
