Appointment was easy to make. I was taken from the waiting room on schedule. The doctor arrived in the exam room on schedule. The doctor spent plenty of time discussing my issues & did not rush anything. The staff surrounding the doctor are polite & succinct. Even the hike from my parking space was very short.

Feeling stressed about recurring chest pain, I needed a same-day appt within the Avance Care network. Nothing was available in Durham where I live. Fortunately, I was able to get an appt at the Chapel Hill location. Staff was warm and friendly. Without having to tell them, they addressed me by my preferred name, Meg, not my legal name, Margaret. That simple effort put me at ease immediately. Dr Stacy Bean was had great calming energy, and I felt truly seen in spite of our brief 20 mins. She ROCKS! And she has great style!

My wife and I both have had a bad fight with Covid for almost 2 weeks.. The providers and staff at Avance are so kind and caring and good at what they do. I think they have some struggles with being under staffed, so you have to be a little patient (not my best trait), but I don’t know anyone who isn’t struggling with staffing right now. They are all hustling and working hard. They find a way to work you in. Thanks Avance.
