My son recently had a pediatrician visit because he had a fever for two days, and I told both the nurse and the pediatrician we suspected strep. The pediatrician recommended both a strep test($30) and a virus test ($360, we didn’t know this price until we got the bill). Sharing very negative feedback for both the Doctor approach for patient treatment and their Billing department attitude to the Client. We applied for a pediatrician visit to get treatment for our sick child - in our family he was the 4th person get sick, and all other family members had mycoplasma pneumonia. The patient had a temperature >100F and a cough, fatigue.
