I attended Azure acres recovery program. It was one of the best experiences that I've ever decided to do. Through the helps of the counselors there: Michele, Christina, Danni and Kellen, I was able to start a clean and sober life. Which has led me to be able to run my own sober living and provide sobriety to other recovering addicts like myself. Although this place is amazing their food sucks but you win some you lose some

I came to Azure Acres for treatment with addiction. I have been in and out of treatment for years and could not remain sober for more then a couple years sometimes no more then 60 days. I went in a total mess. I was in detox for 11 days and was very sick more sick then I have ever been. I attended groups and one on one therapy with my counselor there and this time something magical happened for me there. I read the big book and it finally clicked with me that I can never do drugs or drink like other people. I have a disease... read more

For years my father has struggled with addiction, and it has deeply affected our entire family. . After a near-death experience, my father decided to enter a 30-day intensive treatment program at Azure Acres, and it was the start of a new chapter of his life. I am absolutely positive that the support, care, treatment, and education my father received at Azure Acres saved his life. He was in a terrible place in his life, and the guidance Azure Acres provided him allowed him to see the meaning in life once more. He came out of... read more

Almost four years ago I went through an in-patient drug and alcohol treatment program Today I have the opportunity to spend time in and around many drug and alcohol treatment centers in Sonoma and Marin counties. I also spend much of my time in contact with former patients of these treatment centers. Most of these places are great, but Azure Acres stands out as one of the finest. The staff is incredible. From the clinicians and counsellors to administrators and the chefs, I have the utmost confidence in their compassion an... read more

Azure Acres absolutely saved my life. I went through Azure in 2013 barely able to walk or talk, nor did I have any idea how to lead a clean and sober lifestyle. Azure was full of education, support and guidance. I learned the basis on which I live my life today. The counselors are extremely professional but relatable. I still frequently return to Azure and participate in the alumni activities and community outreach they participate in. There is life waiting for you out there even if you feel like there isn't, and Azure is a ... read more

I went through Azure Acres starting Dec. 29 2015 through Jan. 26, 2016. I can not tell you how please I was with the treatment, education and compassion I received during my stay. We were fortunate to have a great group of people during my stay. We were very cohesive, we became family very quickly, and it was a magical time I believe for us all. Even though I relapsed twice since my stay there (one day a piece but none the less a relapse all the same) I learned enough from Azure and my two relapses that I know what I don... read more

I arrived at Azure Acres in Sebastopol having just been discharged from the hospital subsequent to alcoholism and a potentially fatal withdrawal. I was placed in a coma on a respirator for 5 days because -- as the E/R Physician explained it -- I wouldn't have survived the detox and DT's without intensive medical intervention. I was also very skeptical. I was convinced that I was destined to die early because of my addiction to alcohol and my binge drinking. Attending and graduating a 30 day stint at a "spin dry" facility doe... read more
