Excellent restaurant, we (a couple) were stopping in Edinburgh for the first time. Hotel and restaurant booked well in advance. Location close to city centre. Would definitely visit again. Special thanks to Ruth who made the evening special.
Sunday roast was delicious! The Yorkshire pudding was baked perfectly! We tried both the sticky toffee pudding and the choux buns and they were amazing!
Everything was fantastic from the staff to the food - absolutely brilliant!
Had brunch with 2 friends. Had eggs benedict. I felt there could have been something else on the plate like a bit garnish as half the plate was empty. Eggs were nice if a little underdone for my liking. My latte wasn’t very hot so I had to drink it quick. Ordered another one and said first one wasn’t very hot but second one was the same. I would go back as it’s a lovely place and the staff were nice and friendly.
Absolutely delicious food, fantastic service - really warm and friendly, and lovely atmosphere! Would recommend to everyone.
Very welcoming and a bonus to be allowed to bring my dog.
Had to wait 40 minutes for food and waitress took a long time between attending to the table that we had to call her over a few times. This is the first time I have been disappointed in my visit here.
