This is the second time that we have been here. The first time was for the the Tree lighting so I understand it being busy and the service being crazy. But as our second time in here and it not being busy the service was the same way. It is very disappointing because we were looking forward to real German food :-(
Way too salty. Food was not good quality. Restaurant was filthy.
My husband and I ate at this place on February 22, 2014. The food was very good, but that's about all. The service was mediocre at best. After getting our food, no one checked on us until we were about finished. When the server brought the check, I told him how much I liked the food and that it's been a long time since I've had it. Our group of five left before we even got to food because of the horrible service. A young male waitperson told us 1) the food at The Post Office was better and cheaper; 2) the music at this restaurant is for old people; 3) the band called in sick so he hooked up Pandora via his phone which continued to also receive calls; and 4) that the pink leggings one of our group wore (we had been in the Tubbs/Komen breast cancer event earlier in the day) were weird. The place was full but the service was wonderful, great atmosphere, food was excellent with large servings, we shared our meal. Second visit and we'll be back for more.
Food was awful. Schnitzel and Spätzle tasted like butter as they seemed to be soaked with it. Not at all like good German/Bavarian food!
we were looking forward to a nice Bavarian meal, unfortunately not what we got.Pretty much THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE I have had in a very long time... Food arrived in less than 5 minutes which caught us by surprise, considering Dad ordered the schnitzel and I had ordered the rouladen, both of which should take a little longer to prepare. Taste was bland and the food got cold quickly which indicates to me it was microwaved. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone!!
