My father Gil has been at this lovely nursing home for about 3 years and they have take exceptional care of him. The staff is super friendly and care about the residents. There are plenty of daily activities to keep the residents alert and happy. The therapy unit works hard to meet resident therapy goals. They call me for any concern and keep me up to speed on my dad's progress. They have a good relationship with his doctor (Dr. Reed) who is also wonderful. It is small and there is quality care. My mom has been to many care centers around the area. This facility made her feels like home. Their activity coordinator knows the importance of the activities play the major role in seniors' daily life & promoting their mind & physical strength. Although, this place is not perfect, at least you feel more like home than other care center during your recovery time here.

I placed my mom at Bel Vista Healthcare Center based on the reviews this center has received. The positive reviews had far out-weighed the one negative review that I read. I have to say that I am VERY relieved that my mom is in a GREAT place where she can regain her strength before she returns home. The staff here is incredible - very cheerful and helpful. I've got family members in a couple different facilities in Southern California. I'm particularly impressed with this facility. The therapy is excellent. The food is excellent. My aunt has gained weight there too which impresses me being that she lost a considerable amount of weight in the hospital. On one occasion she didn't care for meal. I like to read reviews, but I'm not the biggest fan of writing them unless the service was exceptional or inferior. In this case, Bel Vista was EXCEPTIONAL! When looking for a facility for my grandma, we wanted an intimate, family-like environment and Bel Vista is exactly that! The nurses at Bel Vista are awesome! They took such good care of my grandpa while he was there. This place is tiny but the BIG hearts of the nurses make up for the small rooms. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to get physical therapy and G tube feedings. Big ups to the all the people there...you are doing a great job!

Bel Vista is like a home away from home. The reason is because they are very small and intimate with only 41 beds and they have the most compassionate staff of nurses and CNAs. I have been told that some of them have been with the facility for over 20 years. The facility is always clean and smells good! The call lights are answered quickly and they always have plenty of nurses to assist even if they are not the nurse assigned to a certain room or patient. I have a Navy veteran friend that's been in and out of the facility since the beginning of the year. Each time he left was to go back to the VA for treatment. They lost his clothes several times and the legs to he's wheelchair. Also he's Case manager comes off very nice but won't go the extra mile to assist with any issues or questions. The medical staff seem to be ok. It's hit and miss with them I guess.

Terrible, terrible experience...theft by caregivers, negligence, filthy rooms, unwashed floors, insensitive staff and nothing for residents to do all day. Avoid at all cost.
