"Horrific service department !!" I had my brand new Toyota sr5 4-runner Scratched twice the very first two service visits I had after my purchase. When I tried contacting the service manager about it, he ignored me. Never got a call or email to address the issue. Not to mention the machanic looked all of about 12 yrs old ? under the hood of my 40,000. Truck ? NO THANKS ! I'll never use they're service again , nor will I buy from Berlin city again JT
"Horrible service from Portland Toyota location" Over the last year, I have had 3 engagements with them. Every time I have had to chase them for status updates, etc. They make appointments, then can't find a record of it. They tell me a service adviser will be calling back - never do, I have to call them. I had the AC serviced once, drove it home and was blowing hot air! They really do not have they act together from a service POV.
"2015 Corrolla" Took my daughter in to look at used cars and ended up leasing a new Corolla. Never really thought of leasing before but after talking to our salesperson Steve Saucier it just made sense to go that route for us. Now I don't have to worry about issues with a used car and my daughters long drive to UMFK from Gray.
"Fast and Efficient Sales" I was looking for a 2015 4WD Toyota Tacoma. I used Truecar for my initial internet search. Within a few hours I had a very attractive quote from Berlin City. Visiting the dealer ship in Portland, the vichicle I was interested in was ready for a test drive. I ended up purchasing a different Toyota with no pressure from sales. "This dealer offers GREAT discounts, but beware!" 1. They ADD about a grand worth of extras to your tab, admin fee, vin etching, you name it. Lastly, they DESPISE pre approved loans as there whole business is dependent on making large sums in the F & I department. They, will claim up and down pre approved loans do NOT exists and you must submit a new credit app. HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!
"Service not done right" I had taken my Toyota RAV4, which only had 20K miles, for a service at this location before heading out on a long drive about 3 weeks ago. I drove over thousand miles before my car stalled on highway and had to have it towed. Upon investigation we discovered that the oil cap was NEVER put back on at the time of service. "Berlin City Toyota=Easy........ NOT" We couldn't get the vehicle we were wanting in our area so we came to cars.com and found our vehicle! It was being sold by Berlin City Toyota, so we contacted them to buy it over the phone and with overnight ups. The way they handled the sale of this vehicle made us never want to buy another Toyota again. "Purchased a certified used Scion iQ, although with less..." Purchased a certified used Scion iQ, although with less then 6000 miles the car is still new. (and the initial break in done which is nice) Anyway, it was not my intention to buy until late next year with my sites set on the same model new. "I do not mind service to take as long as it needs. I mind..." I do not mind service to take as long as it needs. I mind being told on the phone it will take 30 minutes, and then have it end up taking an hour and a half. I don't expect estimates of time to be off by that much for an oil change with an appointment.
