If you want your furniture lost in the move Best Deal Movers, they forgot to tell us that they'll loose pieces of your furniture during your move...so, if you have some furniture you don't want then their great!!
Terrible! Worked nearly 3 hours over the estimate because they sent a tired crew. We bought the damage insurance which they will not honor all though their crew tore up our refrigerator and damaged the floor in our new house. To be fair the floor is old linoleum and wasn't pretty but was in good enough shape for us to save up and replace it. Now it has a huge tear and the whole floor will need to be replaced. Don't use BDM! They are now 2.5 hrs late getting to my house. Changed the pick up time, three times. We agreed I would be the first move of the day. Without notice, I was changed to the second move of the day. Customer service is terrible. Very unprofessional.
Huge Mistake Hiring Best Deal Movers We hired this company to move into our new home. Their moving truck ruined our brand new driveway, the movers left marks all over the walls, scratches on the hardwood floors, a huge cut in the hardwood stairs and ruined our dining room table. Lots of Misinformation I had several conversations with this company well in advance of my move, and asked very specific questions. I was told that I did not need to purchase wardrobe boxes, and that all my hanging clothes could be wrapped in plastic and put on the truck. I was also told that it was standard procedure for them to wrap all artwork in moving blankets, and that there was no need for me to box my artwork. OVERPRICED! upon inquiring about another move quote I am blown away at the amount quoted so different than my move from March 2013! I paid only $345 before for 3 hours and more stuff. I'm moving tens mins down the road and downsizing again for two hours $850 is crazy. The quoted price was a 150% increase in price. Very surprised for a returning customer! Worst Move Ever!!! Moving 1 bedroom plus den Atl apt to home In Fayetteville. Explained to company although it sounded small took a 26 ft truck to move us in. Moving day came and they sent a 14 ft truck!!! Needless to say it required 2 trips. Move started at 10AM and ended at 9PM. Cost was $1400. Est was $875. terrible deal I thought that I had booked these guys 2 months ago, I had printed estimates, inventory lists, stated date of move,and when I called to confirm, they told me that all of this was of no use, the date I had thought was mine was now booked, and that their very expensive storage (450.00) for 3days was "listed with the state" and they could not work with the now 5-6 days that this was going to cost me.
