What bakery doesn't bake their own breaking bread & buns!! I grew up in Brookline. We had 3 awesome bakeries!! Kriebles, Party Cake and Blue Bonnet!! And yes all three made their own bread & buns!! And yes when children came in always got a cookie!! Since I have lived in Bethel for 30+ years I have always wanted to complain about this!! You have never stopped disappointing me!!!

Absolute disappointment! Ordered my daughter's first birthday cake from the North Strabane bakery. Requested specific colors and decoration, neither of which were followed. Cake itself was really ugly, but worse than that was how bad it tasted. Terribly dry, filling was gross, and icing was gritty. Fairly certain the cake was frozen and not fresh due to its consistency. My husband just pulled someone's long, jet black hair out of his cupcake icing. Needless to say it turned our stomachs and ruined the Bethel Bakery name for us. Are your employees required to wear their hair back or in a net? It was very disappointing!

Anybody who knows me knows that I love bethel bakery . They opened a store in north Strabane last year well of course I was excited but after today I would rather buy my cakes somewhere else .today was the second time that I bought a package of 6 cupcakes that were on the table when you walk in . just like the last time these cupcakes had to have been frozen . They were wet and tasted like they were three days old . I have never had a cupcake liner that was so wet . Very very disappointed !

Ordered a birthday cake at the North Strabane location last week. The young man that placed my order said the 1/4 sheet cake was $29. When we picked up the cake, I was in shock that it was actually $50 (+$20 for a stock airbrush picture). An absolutely crazy price for a simple birthday cake. Please advise personnel to relay total costs, and not partials, when orders are placed. We ordered a wedding cake. When we got to the reception the cake was not decorated to our specifications. We ordered a beautiful cake complete with the purple ribbon that we purchased and dropped off not once but twice. All the bakery did was a plain white cake �
I attempted to order a cake with a tractor on it.i called and she said to bring the picture in a few days ahead of time .Monday I went to the bakery and the clerk,who obviously doesn't like her job or can't smile due to a medical condition took the picture and showed the cake decorator.
